The paper sketches the History of DH in Ireland and gives an overview of Key Milestones. One of them is Ireland becoming a DARIAH member: „Irish involvement with extra-national projects such as Europeana and DARIAH […] demonstrates the means by which Irish Digital Arts and Humanities practitioners are increasingly contributing to the widespread development of digital practices and methodologies beyond the academy in Ireland“.
