European Commission Validated an Amendment to the DARIAH-ERIC Statutes

The European Commission validated an amendment to Annex II, paragraph 2 of the DARIAH-ERIC Statutes.

The European Commission validated an amendment to Annex II, paragraph 2 of the DARIAH-ERIC Statutes. The changes concern contributions as well as the status of Observers in the DARIAH ERIC.

Countries that join the DARIAH-ERIC as Observers will now contribute 10 percent of what it would have been if they had joined as Members. Before the scale of contribution was 50 percent.

Additionally it is now clear that being an observer in the DARIAH-ERIC is transitional and that Members can not become Observers. The Observer status is now limited to a 3 year term.
