The ECHOES Cascading Grants Programme offers funding for up to 50 projects to enhance digital engagement, data sharing, and collaboration within the Cultural Heritage Cloud. This funding is available to consortia led by Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHIs) and individual CHIs, supporting diverse initiatives across three calls. Smaller and medium-sized or lesser resourced CHIs are especially encouraged to apply.
Call 1 is now open. It specifically aims to engage various stakeholders in the broader Cultural Heritage Community by inviting them to contribute data to the Cultural Heritage Cloud. Projects address specific use scenarios, for instance related to facilitate academic research, enhance educational materials or enable virtual exhibitions.
For a comprehensive overview of the Cascading Grants Programme and other initiatives that ECHOES is launching to involve the community in the development of the Cultural Heritage Cloud, we invite you to take a look at this promotional video and the results of the December 2024 Onboarding Workshop.
