Her research interests aim to contribute to the theorization of live performance analysis: to this end, she also focuses on the design of digital tools offering specific functionalities for research in this field, concerning not only preservation (conservation of the creative process and performance) but also the analysis of live performance data (genetic criticism, semiology, cultural analysis).
She manages ESNA project (2021-2024) whose aim is to contribute to the computerization of performing arts research. In the framework of this research program, she develops a digital tool named e-spect@tor and dedicated to annotating videos of live performances. Previously, she also led several research project in the same field of Digital Humanities such as the Nord de la France regional program VISUAL STAGING (2019-2022 with Yann Coello and Laurence Delbarre-Willard) and the workpackage e-spect@tor in the Erasmus + DiMPAh project (Digital Methods Platform for Arts and Humanities / 2020-2023). She is also a member of the CANEVAS research consortium, accredited by the Huma-Num Very Large Research Infrastructure, dedicated to research into the analysis of digital audiovisual corpora. To promote the development of digital humanities, it is also leading the project to create a European master’s degree in digital Humanities at La Rochelle University: this initiative, which will be part of the EU-CONEXUS European alliance, is supported by the Erasmus Mundus Design Project.
