France is a Founding Member and the statutory seat of DARIAH ERIC. France's participation in DARIAH-EU is led by the IR* Huma-Num (CNRS UAR 3598), whose charge is given by the Ministry of Research, Higher Education, and Space to the CNRS. Huma-Num is joined in it's national consortium - called DARIAH-FR Forum - by two other national research infrastructures run by the CNRS, the Centre pour la Communication Scientifique Direct (CCSD) and OpenEdition, as well as the BnF Datalab.
France also provides a variety of infrastructural support for DARIAH ERIC, including hosting the website and other core services such as the DARIAH HAL portal and Episciences (the background of the Transformations journal).
