Vicky Dritsou is a Senior Research Associate at the Digital Curation Unit of Athena Research Centre and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. With a background in Informatics, she holds a PhD from the same university, specialising in semantic databases. Her work focuses on semantic technologies and knowledge engineering, including ontology development, conceptual modelling, knowledge graphs and semantic interoperability, applied to Cultural Heritage data and Digital Humanities research infrastructures. She also works on FAIR and Open Science practices, workflows, metadata schemas and research data management. She has participated in national and European research and development projects as an expert in semantic technologies and knowledge organisation, with roles including principal investigator, semantic modelling lead and data manager.
