Prof. dr Julie M. Birkholz is Associate Professor Digital Humanities at the Department of History and Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities at Ghent University and also a researcher at KBR, the Royal Library of Belgium as the lead of the Digital Research Lab. She is the coordinator and co-PI of the CLARIAH-VL+ infrastructure project. Her expertise is the development of research workflows for facilitating text and data mining on cultural heritage collections with a specific focus on developing methodologies and digital workflows for identifying networks in historical sources.
