Arianna Betti is Professor (Chair) of Philosophy of Language at the University of Amsterdam. Her interests are mainly in philosophical methodology, especially the methodology of metaphysics, semantics & philosophy of language and the methodology of the history of philosophical ideas. A former member of the Young Academy of the Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences of the Netherlands, and a current member of the Global Young Academy, Arianna Betti is also active in research policy topics such as grant mechanisms, open access and sustainability of research.
