The project OPERAS-PLUS has received 2,7 million EUR through Horizon Europe to support the further development of OPERAS in its preparatory phase and on its way towards implementation. In 2020, DARIAH selected two streams of funding as part of the Theme funding call, ‘Arts Exchanges’ and ‘Arts, Humanities and COVID-19’. The call attracted a high number of well articulated and competitive applications, mainly addressing, perhaps not surprisingly, the topic of ‘Arts, Humanities and COVID-19’.

As of September 1st, DARIAH has a new President of the Board of Directors, Dr. Toma Tasovac. Tasovac has been a Member of the Board of Directors since 2018. “DARIAH is a vibrant, constantly evolving organisation and I am very happy to continue being part of that evolution,” said Tasovac.

Tanja Wissik is a Senior Scientist at the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities and Cultural Heritage (ACDH-CH) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and teaches Digital Methods at the University of Vienna. Relationship with DARIAH Since 2015, Tanja has been actively involved in Research Infrastructures at a national level in Austria (CLARIAH-AT).
