DARIAH brings together tools and services needed for high-impact research in digital arts and humanities; people, partnerships, content, academic recognition, networking, outreach and scholarly communication. At the same time, DARIAH initiates new collaborations and leads its community in the development of new methods for engaging with content. DARIAH already encompasses a variety of research fields that the term ‘arts and humanities’ entails. It connects various hubs of excellence in digital arts and humanities and helps them to share their achievements and innovations. By sharing knowledge, DARIAH works proactively to enhance the reach of digital arts and humanities within the European Research Area (ERA) and beyond.
