DESCRIPTION:SSH 2019 Research Day – New and old challenges for the humani
 ties and social sciences in European research\n\n December 18\, 2019 – 
 Uni Bastion B012\n\nFollowing up the SSH Research Day 2018\, two theme-bas
 ed round tables are proposed this year on digitisation and impact. \n\nTh
 e first round table is about digitisation\, which is leading to profound c
 hanges in practices in the humanities and social sciences. Integrating the
  “digital” dimension into research is also a major challenge for Europ
 ean research projects\, notably the future Horizon Europe Research and Inn
 ovation Framework Program\, which starts in 2021. This round table will be
  an opportunity to explore the place of digital humanities in European res
 earch programs.\n\nThe second round table examines the impact of the socia
 l sciences and humanities. Indeed\, the inclusion of SSH in European rese
 arch programs has made progress in recent years\, but concretely\, how are
  the results of this research resumed\, valued or even applied? This roun
 d table will provide some answers and\, perhaps\, start a broader reflecti
 on on a better consideration of SSH research.\n\nThe event is aimed at all
  SSH researchers involved in research at European level.
