DESCRIPTION:Data citation in Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) can be a
  rather complicated task\, in particular when it comes to making it machi
 ne actionable. The incompleteness of existing citation methods and compl
 exity of the technical landscape only add to the challenge. To address th
 is problem\, after doing an inventory of citation practices SSHOC projec
 t T3.4 set out to create recommendations and software to:\n\nmake SSH da
 ta-sets citable\;\nvisualise and exploit citations\;\nprovide facilities f
 or curation and semantic annotation of these resources.\n\nThis webinar\,
  organised by the SSHOC project\, will focus on practical aspects of SSH c
 itation based on these recommendations\, and more specifically on:\n\nthe
  value/necessity of data citation\;\nthe “FAIR SSH Citation prototype”
  and other existing tools\;\npractical advice on how to cite SSH data\;\na
  new model for data-based scholarship.\nAudience\n\nAnyone interested in S
 SH data citation\, and more specifically SSH researchers and/or repository
  managers are welcome to attend. Participation upon registration.
