SUMMARY:Clearing some of the highest FAIR hurdles: PIDs\, Metadata\, and Se
 mantic Interoperability for Researchers
DESCRIPTION:Online Event | 04 February 2021 – 13:00 to 14:30 CET\n\nFAI
RsFAIR invites researchers to a presentation of the essential techniques t
o adopt in making data FAIR.\n\nThe practicalities of PIDs\, semantic int
eroperability\, and metadata of relevance to researchers are documented in
D2.4 2nd Report on FAIR requirements for persistence and interoperabilit
y published in October 2020 and currently open for community review.\n\nT
he authors of the report will explore these techniques in detail during th
e webinar and would welcome feedback and comment from participants.\n\nFAI
RsFAIR Task 2.1 aims at enabling sustainable technical implementation of t
he FAIR principles. The report in question is the second of three to be pu
blished during the life of the FAIRsFAIR project on the state of FAIR in
the European scientific data ecosystem. A third report will be published i
n August 2021.\n\nThis webinar is specifically intended for researchers.\n
