DESCRIPTION:Research data form the basis for knowledge and innovation throu
 ghout all scientific disciplines. They play a fundamental role in the prog
 ress of our society. The key to using these data treasures is an effective
  infrastructure.\n\nThe Association German National Research Data Infrastr
 ucture (NFDI) is initiating the first Conference on Research Data Infrastr
 ucture (CoRDI) from 12th to 14th September 2023. The main topics of the co
 nference include technical and non-technical aspects for establishing inte
 rdisciplinary research data management (RDM).\n\nThe Conference on Researc
 h Data Infrastructure stands for more comprehensive knowledge through bett
 er use of research data\, for innovations and the resulting social benefit
 s. Under this year’s theme “Connecting Communities”\, national and i
 nternational stakeholders from all research fields as well as from the inf
 rastructure sector are invited to present their contributions to an excell
 ent RDM of the future and to exchange information about the latest develop
 ments. NFDI is organizing the conference in cooperation with the Karlsruhe
  Institute of Technology (KIT). NFDI contributors as well as all other RDM
  interested stakeholders will have the opportunity to meet at the KIT Camp
 us South.
