DARIAH has launched two new videos to explain how DARIAH-Campus can support learners and training providers.
The promotional videos highlight key benefits of DARIAH-Campus to two key audiences: the learners and the trainers. Along with testimonies from both students and more senior researchers, the videos include insights from those who have designed, built and now manage DARIAH-Campus for the broader digital humanities community.
DARIAH-Campus, the digital platform hosting free training resources in the digital humanities, was launched in 2019 with the aim to make it easier for students and life-long learners to access expertise in a range of topics from leading researchers in the field across Europe. At the same time, the platform allows training content providers the opportunity to promote and safeguard their training resources in a sustainable and versionable way.
“DARIAH-Campus underwent an overhaul in 2021 to improve the content management system to make it easier for training providers to contribute their resources to the platform”, said Toma Tasovac, President of the Board of Directors for DARIAH-EU, and the designer of DARIAH-Campus. “We’re very proud of this development, and happy to share the news with these two videos”.
The two videos were produced by Fabian Fess, who has worked closely with DARIAH on our video productions for a number of years, and thus has an excellent knowledge of DARIAH’s mission and strategic goals.
“The videos are the perfect length for coffee-break viewing,” said Vicky Garnett, Training and Education Officer. “We hope to reach more users with them and tell them what to expect when using our training platform”.
