An Interview with Tomasz Parkola
Tomasz Parkola works at Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center where he manages the ICT R&D department focused on digital repositories and knowledge platforms. He is also heavily involved in DARIAH as co-chair of the VCC3 Expert Hub on Scholarly Content Management.
Among various activities, Tomasz and his department at the PSNC provides e-infrastructure and software technologies for nationwide Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes (DRSI). To enable open research, they are working towards a CoreTrustSeal certification.
“We found the SSHOC Certification Support service very helpful when preparing the CoreTrustSeal application for Digital Repository of Scientific Institutes. The support service offered us a workshop, individual online discussions, comments, hints and suggestions on how to improve and make our CTS application better. Without that, the preparation process would have been much longer and required a lot more effort.”
