DARIAH welcomes two newly elected members in the Scientific Board, Martine Denoyelle, Senior Cultural Heritage Officer at INHA (Institut National de l’Histoire de l’Art), and Alain Heureux, Entrepreneur and CEO of Virtuology Academy.
Martine Denoyelle is Senior Cultural Heritage Officer. After having spent part of her career at the Department of Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities of the Louvre Museum, she was scientific advisor at the National Institute of Art History from 2008 to 2016 then in charge of the digital prospective mission responsible for the Images / Usages project. She has organized in Paris several events on Digital Art History and on the actuality of OpenGLAMs. In 2018, she has published with her team the report Droits des images, histoire de l’art et société and lately a Guide pratique pour la recherche et la réutilisation des images d’oeuvres d’art.
Specialist in Greek ceramics and in particular in the red-figure productions of Magna Graecia, she has published several works (monographs, exhibition catalogs, manual) and numerous articles on the subject, as well as on the modern reception of antiquity.
Alain Heureux, serial entrepreneur, has developed many companies and non-profits in Tech and Marketing spaces focusing on innovation. He opened ‘The Egg Brussels’ in 2010, one of the first Incubation Centers and meeting point for startups (old warehouse of 15.000m2). Since 2014 he has gained expertise in Innovative Processes by using fablabs as catalysers of cultural transformation and co-creation.
He is the founder of Virtuology Academy, an Academy dedicated to Innovation strategy, Transformation & Leadership for Corporates. Virtuology Academy focuses on creating successful Intrapreneurs / Entrepreneurs and Disruptive Thinking.
Alain is also a professor at Gdansk University of Technology for their MBA Program, at Aspire Academy in Roumania and at the SME School of UNIT.City in Kiev.
