The DARIAH-DE national consortium has compiled and launched a tutorial for their ‘Publikator’ tool. The tutorial, available via DARIAH-Campus, offers an easy-to-follow guide for how to prepare, manage, and finally import data collections into the DARIAH-DE Repository using any internet browser.
The tutorial, which is available in German and English, is presented in three parts: Collections, Log in with an account, and Publishing with the DARIAH-DE Publikator. There is also a walk-through of how to use the DARIAH-DE Publikator in conjunction with APIs.
This tutorial is the latest in a series of training resources that have been added to the ever-growing DARIAH-Campus platform, which was launched in October 2019. Since its launch, several new training resources have been added, and more are currently in development. DARIAH-Campus is a discoverability framework that allows for links out to external resources, such as this DARIAH-DE Publikator Tutorial, and hosted resources whereby materials are created for publication on the DARIAH-Campus site. There is also provision for ‘captured events’ offering a way to maintain the context of the event beyond simply sharing slides and videos.
