BAL-ADRIA is a collaboration between countries surrounding the Baltic Sea, and countries surrounding the Adriatic Sea, thus connecting Northern and Southern Europe.
The BAL-ADRIA Summer School on Digital Humanities 2020 offers good-sized classes ideal for learning, discussing and getting feedback on participants’ ideas and thoughts, in a supportive academic environment. This year’s Programme is taught by an international team of researchers and practitioners of digital humanities and social sciences and is delivered in a form of lectures, seminars and practical workshops. Two topics will be covered, equalling together:
- Digital humanities research tools
- Fundamentals of programming for digital humanities
The BAL-ADRIA Summer School is organised jointly by the iInstitute, the iSchool at Linnaeus University, Sweden and the Department of Information sciences, University of Zadar, Croatia. It is also supported by DARIAH-EU and Uppsala University.
