We are excited to announce that we are part of TRIPLE (Targeting Researchers through Innovative Practices and multiLingual Exploration), an EU project funded under the Horizon 2020 framework. TRIPLE’s goal is to create a comprehensive free and open discovery solution for the social sciences and humanities (SSH). It will help social sciences and humanities research in Europe to gain visibility, to be more efficient and effective, to improve its reuse within the field and beyond, and to dramatically increase its societal impact. Under the lead of Huma-Num (CNRS), a consortium of 18 partners from 12 countries will develop TRIPLE as a core service of OPERAS and the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Launched on October 7 2019, TRIPLE will run for 3.5 years.
DARIAH will contribute in identifying user needs and designing a system that will support discoverability in TRIPLE, implementing Open Science, developing and integrating innovative services into this discovery system that will ultimately be integrated into EOSC and in communicating and disseminating the project. The diverse DARIAH community will be greatly benefited from the end result of this project, a fully multilingual and multicultural discovery solution for the SSH resources.
TRIPLE is coordinated by Suzanne Dumouchel (Huma-Num), DARIAH Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer and Co-coordinator of OPERAS.
