Registration is now open for the next DARIAH Code Sprint which will take place in Berlin, on September 24 to 26 2019. The event is organised by the DESIR project, an offspring project of DARIAH-EU tasked with developing sustainability approaches for the research infrastructure for technological and organisational matters. It is an opportunity to bring together interested developers, DH-affiliated people, within and outside the DARIAH community.
The code sprint is structured on three tracks approaching the wider topic of bibliographical metadata from three angles:
- Track A: Extraction of bibliographical data and citations from PDF applying GROBID
- Track B: Automatic Import of Bibliographic Data into BibSonomy
- Track C: Visualisation of time dependent graphs of relations
Although this is already the second code sprint organised by DARIAH-EU and DESIR, it is not exclusively addressed to participants of the first code sprint. Everyone is welcome! An affiliation to coding in the DH or in general technological discussions would be helpful.
Visit the event’s website for more information.
