Open Methods was awarded the second place (1st Runner Up) in the category Best DH Blog Post or Series of Posts, following the winning nomination of the British Library’s Digital Scholarship blog. Open Methods is a DARIAH initiative created by the Humanities at Scale project in cooperation with OPERAS and acts as a metablog platform highlighting curated content about Digital Humanities methods and tools.
One of the DARIAH Theme 2018/2019 winning projects, Recogito, is the winner in the category Best DH Tool or Suite of Tools, followed by the Gale Digital Scholar Lab and the Civil War Photo Sleuth projects. Recogito was awarded funding through the DARIAH Theme Funding Call 2018/2019 on “Strategic Service Sustainability” on the project “Towards a Sustainable Annotation Tool: Integrating Recogito with DARIAH”.
