DARIAH and Digital Infrastructures in Spain

By Eliza Papaki | News | October 1, 2018

UNED and its Center on Innovation and Digital Humanities will host a workshop on Digital Infrastructures in Spain on October 30th, 2018 in Madrid. This workshop is organised in the context of the DESIR project and aims in discussing the opportunities for collaboration in the area of infrastructures for current Spanish national projects, the contributions of DARIAH in this regard and to seek a consensus regarding the strategy of incorporation of Spain into DARIAH.

The workshop has been proposed as a stage for dialogue on the current and future of Spanish digital infrastructures. The day will feature presentations by DARIAH representatives, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the DESIR project itself, whose representation in Spain is coordinated by the UNED. Also, thanks to the Spanish Humanities Network (HDH), there will be a plenary meeting of representatives from the various Digital Humanities communities in Spain.

Registration is open at: http://linhd.es/p/workshop-dariah/
