University of Helsinki and HELDIG Centre for Digital Humanities will host a meeting on 26 September 2018 aiming to form a Finnish national consortium for DARIAH. Jennifer Edmond, President of the DARIAH Board of Directors, will present the benefits of joining DARIAH and will facilitate a workshop that will form the potential Finnish membership.
This meeting will also host the Finnish nodes of CLARIN and CESSDA, the Academy of Finland and up to seven Finnish universities that are interested in taking part in the future consortium. Up to now, DARIAH ERIC is not yet on the Finnish Research Infrastructure Roadmap. The DARIAH-FI Meeting will provide an overview of the Finnish humanities landscape from the perspective of Research Infrastructures, introducing DARIAH and forming the potential consortium of this Cooperating Partner.
The event is by invitation only, but discussion online (via Twitter) can be followed through the hashtag #dariahfi from 10:00 EET.
